Portrait research

For my portrait image for this assignment I am going to link it with one of my products, being perfume. The initial thoughts that I have when I think of portrait images that include a product are again sometimes over the top and a bit too much. Also most perfume adverts do not have the product within the photograph, an image of the product gets added on after, rather than incorporating it into the photograph, which is shown in the images below.

Although I do feel these are very successful adverts, I do not like them, as I feel you are taking away from advertising the product and focusing more on the model within the photograph. And sometimes what the model is doing has nothing to do with the product and the image can look a little fake.

Although the two images below do involve the perfume bottles within them, i still feel they are a bit too over the top.

Therefore I want to produce something which is very simple a involves both a model and the product, yet I don't want the model to overpower the product, therfore I intend to keep it rather simple, by not adding in any props, it will be simple the model, perfume bottle and I will create tone and shadows using studio lights. A bit like what is shown in the images below.
